Signing in
- Didn't get the confirmation email? Check your spam or promotions folder, then try signing up again with the same address. The link in the email opens the GistWise app, so open it on the phone where GistWise is installed.
- Forgot your password? On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and follow the link we email you, on the same phone.
- Signed up with Apple, Google or Microsoft? Use the same button again to sign in. If you chose "Hide my email" with Apple, your account uses an Apple relay address.
Subscriptions
- Manage or cancel: subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- New phone, or Premium not showing? Sign in with the same account, open Premium in the app and tap Restore.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, through Google Play.
Audio and playback
- Too quiet or no sound? Check your phone's media volume while a Gist is playing (it is separate from the ringer volume), and that the phone isn't on silent with audio routed to a disconnected Bluetooth device.
- Won't start playing? Gists stream over the internet unless you downloaded them. Check your connection, or download Gists before a flight.
- Speed: change the playback speed from the speed button on the player screen.
Report a problem with a Gist
Every Gist is researched from public sources, fact-checked and reviewed. If you spot something wrong or unclear, tell us: in the app under Profile → Help & feedback, or email hello@gistwise.ai with the Gist's title and what you noticed. We check every report and correct or remove Gists when needed.

Your account and data
